  • Rules and Description: One team is a rescue team out to save a downed pilot. The pilot receives only 20 rounds of ammunition and is given 3 minutes to hide in the playing field.

The rescue team’s goal is to get the pilot and bring him/her back to their starting area alive. The bad guys are trying to capture (touch) or eliminate the pilot.

Medics can be added to the game to extend play.

Kick the Can Tag

  • Group Size: 5 or more
  • Time: 20 minutes or more
  • Objective: Tag all the players before one of them can kick the can or ring the bell.
  • Rules and Description: The can or bell is located in the center of the playing field. One player is “it”. Non “it” players hide in the playing field. When a player is tagged, he or she must reveal themselves and stand by the can/bell. Players can change hiding places, move around, or attempt to kick/ring the goal at any time they wish.

If a player kicks or rings the goal, everyone standing by the goal is allowed to re-hide.

The last person tagged is “it” for the next round.

Last Person Standing

  • Group Size: 2 or more
  • Time: 5 to 20 minutes
  • Objective: Be the last person living.
  • Rules and Description: The entire group stands in the middle of the field. When the referee blows their whistle each player may not fire, but move quickly anywhere on the field. After 30 seconds the referee blows their whistle a second time. Players can commence tagging. The last player to be alive wins.

The Bachelor/Bachelorette Run

  • Group Size: 3 or more
  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 5 to 20 minutes depending on field used
  • Objective: Tag the groom/bride
  • Rules and Description: The group splits into two teams. The groom/bride (and maybe the best man or maid of honor) vs. the remaining members of the group. This can be played with the groom/bride and best man/maid of honor armed or unarmed. The goal of the groom/bride and best man/maid of honor is to get from one side of the field to the other (and get tagged as little as possible). The goal of the other team is to tag the groom/bride and best man/maid of honor. Please remember this is only a game, don’t get carried away.

A safe zone can be established where the groom/bride and best man/maid of honor can go and not be tagged for a limited amount of time.

Blob

  • Group Size: 8 or more
  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 10 to 30 minutes
  • Objective: To not get tagged
  • Rules and Description: Each team starts on the opposite end of the playing field. If you get tagged, put your gun up, and yell “I am hit!” and run to the opposite teams starting area. You are now on their team. The game ends when all players are on the same team.

A medic can be added to the game to extend play.

The Siege

  • Group Size: 15 or more
  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 15 to 20 minutes
  • Objective: Ring the bell
  • Rules and Description: The defending team sets up a defense near the bell and tries to prevent the attacking team from ringing the bell. The attacking team is trying to get to the bell and ring it. Game ends when the bell is rung, or one of the teams have been eliminated.

Allow the attacking team to replenish itself every two minutes, or a medic can be added to the game to extend play.

Capture the Flag

  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 15 to 20 minutes
  • Objective: Each of the teams establishes a headquarters on the opposite side of the play field. Within the headquarters each team must hang their flag. Each team is trying to get their opponents flag back to their own headquarters. The first team to accomplish this wins.

If played on Fox Hole Field the flag must be carried across the Bark River Bridge.

Ambush

  • Field: Ambush Trail
  • Objective: One team tries to replenish supplies of their outpost and return without being eliminated.
  • Rules and Description: One team is trying to carry a cargo of supplies to their outpost on the opposite end of the trail. The opposing team tries to ambush the other team and capture their supplies. The game ends when the supplies have been captured, the supply team is eliminated or the supply team returns home safely.

A medic can be added to the game to extend play.

Medic

  • Group Size: 15 or more
  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 20 to 30 minutes
  • Objective: Eliminate the other team
  • Rules and Description: Assign one player on each team to be the medic. The game progresses as any other game but if you get tagged your medic can heal you. As soon as you get tagged raise your gun in the air and drop to your knees and begin yelling for your medic. If he/she can or wants to save you all they have to do is touch you or, in laser tag, tag you and you are healed and can return to play. The medic is given a pre-determined number of medic saves to hand out (usually 5-10). If the medic dies no one can heal the medic. The game ends when one team is eliminated.

Rabbit vs. Hunter

  • Group Size: 4 or more
  • Number of Teams: 2
  • Time: 5 to 30 minutes
  • Objective: Eliminate the rabbits or convert the hunters
  • Rules and Description: The game begins when all the rabbits hide. Hunters move as a group across the field hunting the rabbits. The goal of the hunters is to eliminate all of the rabbits. Once a hunter tags a rabbit the rabbit must hold up their gun and move to the rabbit cage. If a rabbit tags a hunter the hunter must raise their gun and yell “I’m Hit” and runs to hide and becomes a rabbit. They have 30 seconds where hunters cannot tag them. The game ends when all rabbits or hunters are eliminated.

Gotcha

Team tries to collect and bring both tags back to their starting area. This is a re-spawn game. I.e. if you get eliminated put your gun above your head and run back to your starting area, once there you can re-enter play.
